この曲はとってもポップなので、まさかこの人がフランク・シナトラばりのムーディーな歌も歌う人だとは思っていませんでした。
「失恋したけど君とサヨナラできて超ハッピー！」というポジティブすぎる内容（歌詞）なのですが、サビの部分が清々しくて、いいお天気の時に口ずさみたくなるんですよね～
聴いてて気分がアガる曲で、本当に大好きです！！

この曲のMVは、なんと奥さんと共演してるんですよね～（公式YouTubeからMVの貼付け出来ず･･･）
マイケル・ブーブレが一目惚れし、猛アタックの末にMVで共演して、その後結婚まで！ なんとも情熱的でロマンティックです。

私のクリスマスシーズン中のBGMはずっとこれでした。
アルバムには「ホワイトクリスマス」「きよしこの夜」「フロスティー・ザ・スノーマン」など、定番クリスマスソングのカヴァーや、オリジナル・クリスマス・ソング「コールド・ディセンバー・ナイト」も収録されています。
もう、何回聴いても最高！このCDジャケットも大好きだし、クリスマス＝マイケル・ブーブレと言ってもいいくらいに雰囲気がマッチしている･･･
この曲が収録されたアルバムは全米チャートでNo1になっただけでなく、イギリス、ドイツ、イタリア、オーストリア、スウェーデンなど欧州のチャートでもNo1になったすごいアルバムです。

デビューのきっかけ
幼少期は祖父のジャズ・レコードを聴いて育ちました。やがてビッグバンドのプロダクションに出演し、3枚のインディーズ・アルバムから音楽のキャリアをスタートさせます。
彼のブレイクのきっかけとなったのは2000年、カナダ前首相ブライアン・マルルーニーの娘さんの結婚式に歌手として招待されたことです。
会場にいた、グラミー賞受賞歴のあるプロデューサーの目に留まり、2003年にデビューアルバム 『Michael Bublé』を発売。カナダで大ヒットした他、アメリカ、オーストラリアでもセールスチャートのトップに入るようになりました。
世界中で大ヒット
2004年、カナダのジュノー賞で最優秀新人賞を獲得。 2005年にリリースした二番目のアルバム『IT’S TIME』は全世界の売上枚数が450万枚を突破し、2006年のジュノー賞では最多4部門を受賞しています。

マイケル・ブーブレの現在
華々しい活躍をしてきたマイケル・ブーブレでしたが、2011年に結婚したアルゼンチンの人気女優、ルイサナ・ラピアトとの間に授かった息子、ノア君が3歳の時に膵臓癌を患い、サポートのためにしばらく活動を休止しています。
幸いノア君は回復に向かい、ブーブレも活動を再開していますが、本当に辛い時期だったようです。これから楽しいことが沢山ありますように・・・
